About the team

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, and fault-tolerant systems. In our team, you’ll have the opportunity to manage the complex challenges of scale, while using expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large-scale system design. Responsibilities

- To lead and provide coaching to teams in day-to-day operations, statutory and compliance resolution, operation projects and continuous improvement programs effectively and professionally with proper approach and methodology

- Excellent in payroll processes, procedures, statutory regulations and with leading role in payroll system implementation for LATAM region, including but not limited to Brazil, Mexico, Columbia and Argentina
- Expert with locals and foreigners cross border payroll calculations, employee share scheme and reportings
- Proven track record in problem solving for complex issues
- Continuously develop and manage a team's career growth and progression
- Strong vendor management and project management skills to lead and drive vendors to provide desired payroll solutions and deliverables
- High adaptability to changing environments, collaborate and influence team members and stakeholders to achieve operation effectiveness and efficiency of the region

Key Responsibilities

- Lead a team of backend engineers and collaborate with frontend/mobile teams to build innovative privacy aware infrastructure.
- Be responsible for the system design and functionality development of the privacy engineering frameworks and platforms.
- Establish a strong team by continuously mentoring/growing team members.
- Investigate the cutting-edge industry progress of privacy engineering and get feedback from business lines, continuously improve efficiency & stability of the solutions.
- Work closely with operations & business teams to address technical challenges when applying solutions throughout our product suite.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including product managers, data scientists, and infrastructure teams.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in managing or tech leading a software engineering team.
- Strong technical skills in backend development, including experience with distributed systems, databases, and APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
