The Global E-Commerce team focuses on content E-Commerce, using international short video products as a platform. Their goal is to become the preferred choice for users to discover and purchase affordable and high-quality products. The team aims to provide tailored, active, and efficient consumption experiences for users, while also offering stable and reliable platform services to merchants in various scenarios such as live e-commerce and short video content E-Commerce. As an Engineering Manager on the Commercial Platform team, you will be responsible for building and managing the Global E-Commerce Commercial Platform tech team in the US. You will design technical solutions and provide support to engineers in the team. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and alignment with product and organizational objectives will be crucial. Additionally, you will define the long-term technical roadmap for the team and contribute to technical decisions on projects. Requirements – Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline. – Minimum of 2 years of experience managing or tech-leading a software engineering team. – At least 5 years of experience in large-scale backend system development. – Strong proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms. – Excellent business understanding, technical learning, and transfer abilities, with a strong sense of responsibility. – Effective communication and teamwork skills. |
