The Global E-Commerce team focuses on content E-Commerce, utilizing international short video products as a means to provide users with tailored, active, and efficient consumption experiences. Their goal is to make affordable and high-quality products easily accessible, enabling merchants to receive stable and reliable platform services across various scenarios, including live e-commerce and short video content E-Commerce.


As part of the data intelligence team, your responsibilities will include building and managing the Global E-Commerce Data Intelligence tech team in the US. You will drive continuous improvements to engineering excellence and efficiency, leading research and development into key areas of optimization for backend systems and services. Collaboration with product and data teams will be essential to evolve data-empowered capabilities in various verticals such as data visualization, operational analysis, intelligent diagnosis, and market intelligence. Additionally, you will align with product and organizational objectives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, define long-term technical roadmaps, and contribute to technical decisions on projects.


To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields and at least 5 years of experience managing a software engineering team. You should also possess extensive experience in large-scale backend system development and building data intelligence-related products with big data processing and distributed storage engines. A deep understanding of data structures, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security, and highly scalable systems design is crucial. Strong communication, teamwork, and business understanding abilities are also required.
