About the Team

The Data-TnS QA team is responsible for ensuring high product quality in Trust and Safety. We focus on testing and delivering high-quality products that promote content safety and understanding, protecting our users from harmful content and abusive behaviors. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to validate, automate, develop, and manage quality challenges throughout the development and production stages. Responsibilities

– Collaborate closely with peers to ensure project quality meets functional and user experience standards.
– Continuously track and analyze quality issues, providing insights and developing improvement plans.
– Help implement test tools and collaborate with automation/stability QA teams to enhance productivity.
– Serve as the contact person for US-specific quality issues with related QA peer teams.
– Train and mentor new hires and teams.
– Implement policies and processes to maintain a positive work environment.
– Provide first-hand support for internal team escalations.
– Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting team productivity.
– Assist the recruiting team in identifying and recruiting top talents for local QA openings.

Requirements

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
– 5+ years of experience in quality assurance of internet products, primarily server-side.
– Proficient in quality assurance methodology, CI/CD, quality standards, server-side automation testing, and server-side performance testing.
– Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate with local and global teams.
– Cross-cultural awareness and effective collaboration with global teams across different time zones.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
– Preferred: Experience as a team lead or in technical leadership roles.
