Description Our client, the leading destination for short-form mobile video, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Data Infrastructure, Live Streaming Infrastructure. With global offices in various cities, our client’s mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy to over 1 billion users on their platform. They are looking for humble, intelligent, compassionate, and creative individuals to join their team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and tackle the challenges of handling massive amounts of data generated by billions of users worldwide. Collaborating with software engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders, you will utilize a data-driven approach to enhance the live streaming experience for users. Responsibilities – Designing, building, and maintaining efficient and reliable data pipelines for moving and transforming large and small amounts of data. – Developing data solutions to drive data-driven initiatives. – Driving internal process improvements and automating manual processes for data quality and SLA management. – Collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners. Requirements – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent working experience. – Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, or Go. – Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining custom ETL/data pipelines to support business insights. – Familiarity with data processing platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Flink, Kafka, and ClickHouse.
