About the team

The Strategic Readiness Manager will support the e-commerce business on entering into new markets while minimizing risks. The role involves developing an in-depth understanding of various legal, regulatory, GR/policy, and media risks – in partnership with corresponding functional teams – to inform the business and propose and implement plans and programs to mitigate.


Key responsibilities include

– Gain an in-depth understanding of new market landscape to help the business navigate a successful launch.
– Advising the business on key risks and proposing actionable mitigation plans.
– Continuously monitor the external environment post-launch to support business in establishing strong business operations
– Perform comprehensive analyses of business operations to develop a deep understanding of business to better inform strategies.
– Conduct proactive, systematic analyses of e-commerce activities and provide clear, actionable guidance to business teams using accessible, business-friendly language
– Partner closely with GR, Communications and Legal teams to proactively address issues
– Exercise strong independent judgment and leadership abilities and provide risk-based solutions that align with business objectives


Minimum Qualifications

– Strong understanding of data compliance, security, and privacy laws and regulations is a plus.
– Proven ability to make risk-based, data-driven decisions and align diverse teams toward common goals.
– Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, with experience in cross-functional and global roles, collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
– Highly self-motivated with strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
– Strong logical thinking and analytical abilities.
– Proactive, patient, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and a collaborative mindset.


Preferred Qualifications

– Bachelor degree or higher, with 5 years of working experience related to e-commerce, data compliance, and product experience in LATAM region, with strong experience in Mexico and preferably Brazil.
