Responsibilities – Establish and enhance risk defense strategy, operational excellence, plus technical roadmap of a risk domain of our company’s products/platforms (e.g., fake accounts detection, social spam, financial fraud, etc.). – Own end-to-end risk defense business results of the given risk area, drive planning and execution, win trust from internal stakeholders and external users. – Within the given managerial scope, up-level engineering excellence and culture, support career growth of engineers and data scientists, deepen XFN collaboration, empower the team for long term success. Minimum Qualifications – Master or above degree in computer science, statistics, or other relevant, machine-learning-heavy majors. – Solid engineering skills. Proficiency in at least two of: Linux, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Storm. – Familiarity with data mining, data science, machine learning or finance/social platform risk defense. Bonus given if possessing at least one advantage among risk control, data science, machine learning, risk engine, realtime computing. – Strong ownership; proactive, skillful, candid and clear communication; ability to handle high complexity, urgency, cross-functional alignment; stay empathetic and composed. Preferred Qualifications – 4 years of technical leadership experience in relevant industry jobs. – 2 years of software engineering or data science managerial experience in relevant industry jobs. |
