About The Team Our ads data platform team work closely with our product managers and data analysts by building state of the art streaming and batch data processing solution. The entire data pipeline is supporting both the Tiktok ads platform and our internal business intelligence platform. In this role, you will see a direct link between your work, and the company’s business success. You will have opportunities to deal with Petabyte-level data warehouse. Some of the world’s most challenging technical and business problems are waiting for you to solve. Responsibilities – Work with product managers and data analyst to make the data-related product design. – Interface with engineers, product managers and product analysts to understand data needs. – Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership. – Design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes in production. – Support existing streaming and batch system in production, solve the on-call issues. – Define and manage SLA for all data sets in allocated areas of ownership. – Work with data infrastructure to triage infra issues and drive to resolution. – Support daily project management, assist junior engineer on business and technical problems. Qualifications – BS/BA in Technical Field, Computer Science or Mathematics. – 5+ years experience in the data warehouse space. – 5+ years experience in custom ETL design, implementation and maintenance. – 4+ years experience working with big data technologies (Hadoop、Hive、Spark etc.) . – 4+ years experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling. – 5+ years experience in writing SQL statements. – Proficient in one of Programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) – Communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights. – Ability in managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clients. |
