We are looking for a highly motivated Regional (Americas) Director of GTM to join our organization. As a GTM Director, you will excel at cross-functional collaboration and work with leadership, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and headquarters in China to deliver value to users through new technology and product launches. You will leverage your product knowledge and understanding of the market to maximize customer satisfaction with our products. You will be responsible for development of regional product roadmap, Go-to-Market planning, P&L management, product launches, market research, and monitor competitive activity. You will seamlessly flow between high-level strategic planning and day-to-day project execution. To be successful you will be required to have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of consumer hardware market at retail and you must be comfortable presenting to all levels of business management, including internal and external customers. A strong desire to win and ability to move fast are critical skills. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 1. Strategic Product Leadership: – Shape the regional product landscape by orchestrating channel map sessions and driving comprehensive product roadmap planning. – Oversee budgetary considerations, new category integration, and end-of-life strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals. 2. Market Positioning and Pricing Strategy: – Spearhead collaboration across different functions to craft impactful pricing and promotional strategies that align with profitability goals. – Guide the establishment of a dynamic pricing and promotion calendar, optimizing market presence and competitiveness. 3. Innovative Product Launches and Project Management: – Track project progress and milestones, ensuring the timely and successful introduction of new products to the market. – Implement visionary launch planning, synchronizing with seasonal timelines for maximum impact and market penetration. 4. Market Insight and Intelligence: – Deliver monthly insights reports, providing a deep understanding of market dynamics and trends. – Conduct consumer and competitive analyses, translating findings into actionable strategies for sustained market leadership. 5. Holistic Product Management: – Define and champion regional product requirements, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. – Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through product testing, feedback mechanisms, and adaptive response to market reviews. 6. Strategic Marketing and Sales Enablement: – Develop and articulate high-level product positioning and messaging to resonate with target audiences. – Oversee product demonstrations, training initiatives, and media interactions, fostering a strong brand presence. – Lead influential line reviews, shaping product listings and content for retail partners, while ensuring compliance with industry standards. 7. Product Planning and Development, Product Lifecycle Management, PSI (Product, Sales, and Inventory) Management: – Led and coordinated product lifecycle management to ensure thorough consideration and planning of products from concept to end-of-life. – Formulated and executed PSI strategies to ensure optimal product inventory while meeting sales demand and minimizing inventory costs. – Provided data support for product decisions through market analysis and competitive intelligence gathering, ensuring product competitiveness in the market. – Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales, to achieve product objectives and ensure projects progressed according to plan. – Managed product roadmaps with regular updates based on market needs and business objectives. Responsible requirements (Skills/Abilities/experience): – At least 8 years of experience in the field of consumer electronics, software, eCommerce, or technology industries – At least 5 years of leadership experience in an international environment and across multiple sites – Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills with close attention to detail and accuracy – Experience in competitive and market analysis and development of custom reporting solution – Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills with close attention to detail and accuracy. – Ability to clearly communicate and defend your ideas and strategies. – A passion for delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations. – A drive to improve, personally and professionally.
