As an ML Engineer in the Data-E-commerce-Global Supply Chain and Logistics team, you will be responsible for optimizing the variety and cost-saving of goods, as well as the speed and quality of fulfillment to ensure a seamless user experience for their global e-commerce service.


Your tasks will include

– Building a global logistic and warehousing network, improving operations efficiency, and reducing operational costs using data analysis, machine learning, and operation research methods.
– Creating a data portrait and knowledge graph of the supply chain in various dimensions such as vendors, commodity, place of origin, inventory, production capacity, and quality of fulfillment. Establishing data-driven control-adjustment methods to enhance operational outcomes and user experience.
– Identifying global e-commerce trends to optimize e-commerce commodity supplies, forecast commodity demand, recommend vendor stocking, and enhance production capacity.
– Developing deep learning models and intelligent systems for the supply chain and logistics of international E-Commerce businesses.
– Participating in the process of optimizing business results using techniques such as computer vision, natural language processing, sales prediction, time-series analysis, and geo-coding.
– Keeping track of cutting-edge technologies in computer vision, natural language processing, and multi-modal machine learning. Utilizing these technologies to optimize results in tasks such as fine-grained product style analysis, product similarity analysis, and product attribute recognition.


Requirements

– In-depth study in a certain field of natural language processing or computer vision, including image/video classification and recognition, image segmentation, object detection, OCR, graph neural network, text classification, NER, multimodal, unsupervised and self-supervised learning.
– Familiarity with at least one framework of TensorFlow / PyTorch / MXNet and its training and deployment details, as well as training acceleration methods such as mixed precision training and distributed training.
– Knowledge of the latest research and technology in model compression acceleration, including model quantization, pruning, knowledge distillation, and inference frameworks such as TensorRT.
– Strong practical ability, preferably with experience in winning Kaggle, COCO, ImageNet, NOI/IOI, and other competitions. Publications in relevant competitions and top academic conferences (such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, EMNLP, etc.) are highly preferred.
– Familiarity with AutoML related algorithms, preferably with experience in automatic search of network structure or hyperparameters.
– Familiarity with big data related frameworks and applications, preferably with knowledge of MR or Spark.
