The Data Platform team at our client is responsible for building data infrastructures and products to support their business engineering teams. As a Data Engineer in this team, you will have the opportunity to work on one of the largest data platforms in the world. Your role will involve designing and building efficient and reliable data transformations for various purposes such as reporting, growth analysis, and multi-dimensional analysis. You will also be responsible for implementing scalable and robust big data systems that support core products and business operations. Additionally, you will contribute to establishing best engineering practices and design principles for both technical and non-technical team members. Requirements – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience – Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Flink – Proficiency in performing data analysis, data ingestion, and data integration – Strong communication and collaboration skills – Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) and architecting data systems – Knowledge of schema design and data modeling – Proficient in writing, analyzing, and debugging SQL queries – Deep understanding of various Big Data technologies – Passionate and self-motivated about technologies in the Big Data area |
