OCBang, Inc. (DBA OCBridge) in San Jose, CA seeks Marketing Research Director. Conduct international market research projects, analyze quantitative data to identify trends and opportunities, provide insights and support company’s global talent acquisition strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct international market research projects to collect data on global market trends and competitor activities, utilizing diverse research methodologies and data sources
- Utilize statistical tools and techniques to analyze quantitative data, identifying key patterns, trends, and market opportunities
- Perform targeted market research in specific regions around the world to assist clients in establishing new operations in foreign countries. Adapt research methods and channels to suit local contexts, and engage with clients from diverse national and cultural backgrounds
- Develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on comprehensive research findings to enhance and optimize company’s global talent acquisition strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative recruitment approaches aligned with the company’s international growth objectives
- Oversee international client relationships by coordinating, maintaining, and enhancing interactions. Enhance engagement with consulting and recruiting clients to ensure the team understands their business demands, preferences, and priorities promptly
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders
Requirements:
This position requires Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management, International Affairs, International Management, Market Research, or a related field.
No prior work experience is required, but must demonstrate solid knowledge and skills through academic coursework, research project, teaching assistantship, or practical training through internship or co-op in each of the following:
- Experience conducting international market research projects
- Solid knowledge in R, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau
- Proficient in quantitative and statistical analysis, with ability to interpret complex data sets
- Ability to analyze market dynamics through a global lens and identify cross-border opportunities and challenges
- Experience with international business practices to gain cultural insight and deliver culturally sensitive corporate communication
